ever paid a lot for something then later having to realise that you've been ripped off?
i mean like the time when you tried ordering a normal plain prata from the local indian muslim corner in coffeeshops..then a few minutes later the damn lackey comes with an egg prata and a plain one ...even when you specifically told the damn mongrel your order consisted of just one plain prata....so your next step .. you tell him that you only ordered a plain prata ... and then .. wait for it ..bang .. he puts on that face you see on every cheating indian muslim hawker when being told that the order was wrong ... a complicated look of frustration, sadness and one that's begging empathy from you to realise his situation... so what do you do .. you meekly accept it .. and he then proceeds to give you that smile which reveals his shiny gold tooth..(wait a minute .. didn't you think that he was in a hard pressed situation and that money didn't come easy for a greaseball like him)...well there it is folks .. dirty hawker marketing tactics 101..and we're constantly being victims...of their dirty tricks.. it's not only with the indian muslims (but they seem to be always taking it to new heights)..
even the drinks seller does it.. the western food hawkers do it .. almost everyone who runs a hawker stall be it in a market or coffeeshop do it...more examples of dirty hawker marketing tactics 101....This country we live in, Singapore has some secret inside government operation to constantly make sure that at one time or another .. there is always some shitty assed campaign being run ... so that the people of singapore can feel that the government is always looking out for them...most obvious constant campaigns are .. the speak mandarin campaign .. or healthy food campaign ..and speak courteously campaign .... ok i'm not sure whether the healthy food campaign is still being run, but the hawker stalls almost everywhere even in glorious bedok city prominently display stickers or logos that we should eat healthy and have a balanced diet...so let's take a peek into the soya bean drinks seller...and my experience with that assmonkey...there i was in the marketplace, tired after a good game of soccer (as usual i was best player) and me and my friends wanted to have "what used to be cheap fare" soya bean to drink. being the one whose throat was most parched i ordered up first..the seller is all smiles first .. then "pow" ..he says $1 please...stunned by the price increase.. i manage to recover and pay up without givng any looks...upon paying the fucker .. he flashes the gold tooth smile ... i want to kick him in the balls but refrain from doing so..i carry the glass back to my table and start sipping my drink.....that's when the sour taste hits me... now i just paid 1 dollar for a "not so sweet" version of soya bean ... fuck .. i paid the money .. i want the sugar... so i bring the drink back to the soya bean seller.... telling him i want more syrup ... he simply points to the stupid healthy lifestyle sticker...what a motherfucker...he even has the audacity to say that .. since im black skinned .. i should be drinking chin chow instead of soya bean .... racist motherfucking soya bean drink seller... so what do i do then?? i do what any like minded civillian should do .. i pour the soya bean back into his soya bean fish tank .. and leave ... as i leave .. he's cussing and swearing at me .. but i don't care..for me .. i've done my part in educating the people in hopes that they realise that they don't fall prey to .. dirty hawker marketing tactics 101....next time you go to the coffeeshop and pay 1.20 for a coke .. realise that the can only costs them 25 cents....you pay 3 for a plate of noodles .. realise that the entire cost of the noodles comes to only about 90 cents ... i know that hawkers like any other business people need to make profit but ... this isn't a profit .. this is about ripping us off...and it surprises me everytime i hear of some hawker's son or daughter getting 9 A1's for O levels or A levels... come on people .. hakwers rip us off all the time.. it isn't that strange or a miracle if their offspring become that smart ... they simply take after their parents who cheat and bullshit us on a daily basis...where's the "wonder" element in that? come on people .. let's all boycott these motherfuckers ... let them realise that we aren't going to fall prey to their dirty tactics ever again .. the end.
